Ada Marano is a remarkably talented and versatile young performer who boasts an impressive repertoire of experiences for her age. Since she began acting at age five, Ada has been in over 20 musicals and plays. She has both led and been featured in several community and regional stage productions—including playing Matilda at the Players Club of Swarthmore, Jane Banks in The Media Theatre’s “Mary Poppins”, and Belinda Cratchit in the Walnut Street Theatre’s production of “A Christmas Carol”. Ada is a skilled, award-winning vocalist who performs throughout the greater Philadelphia area, singing pop and musical theater at local events throughout the year. She has been chosen to sing the national anthem for the LaSalle University Explorers Basketball Team and the Philadelphia Rebels Hockey Team and was selected for both the SJCDA All South Jersey Elementary and Junior High Honors Choirs. Ada currently trains at ZZ Dance in Ballet and Tap and is an assistant in Musical Theater to instructor Sammy Zweben, who has been a mentor to Ada since 2020. Outside of performing, Ada is a big sister to six rescue dogs, a black belt in Taekwondo, a leader in her school’s community service club, and an honor student who boasts consistent straight A’s.
